My wife and I went to Kosnoski Eye Care (KENT LOCATION) and I had the worst optometry experience in my life and I have been wearing glasses for 30 years. When we went there for the exam and to choose our glasses the visit went fairly smooth although we were there for over 2 hours.

Both my wife and I after waiting for our glasses for over 10 business days had to call them to see if our glasses had come in. It was like the glasses where just sitting there waiting for us to call. Went in to get fitted and found that my left eye was blurry. Did not accept the glasses and was told I had to wait a week to be see again to check the wrong prescription that was given. They made me drive to a much farther location to be seen after that week and when I got there they had no appointment for me so I waited for 45 minutes for them to get me in. They adjusted the prescription and sent me back to the original office for another check of measurements and I was told that they would put a rush on the new pair.

After 7 business days I called and asked where my glasses where and was told it would take another 4 business days to get. At that point I asked for a discount on the glasses since it has been over 1 month since the initial visit. ONE FULL MONTH PLUS TO GET GLASSES??? So they came back and said the Doctor Kosnoski would not give a discount and to refund my money and send me on my way without anything. A month of wasted time and they wouldn’t even discount the glasses after they told me I had to wait even longer. WOW, Really!!!! I would not recommend going to Kosnoski Eye Center, they show now sence of urgency in getting the customer there glasses and made me feel like they could care less whether I got my glasses or not…..

The Clinic owner Doctor Edward Kosnoski is a very nice guy; good communication, thorough exam, very personable.



However, HONTZ, JESSICA E is NOT worth your time, she is only interested in your money. As a doctor, she does not explain anything, she is a poor listener; she spends as minimum time with a patient as possible. After she got what she wants (a reason to bill you for more money), she will avoid you. I will not go back to this place.



2 months after my eye exam; I still have NOT receive a new glasses prescription; the things I got from her are frustrations and the unexpected medical bill.



I was in for a routine eye exam but was billed for a lot more..... One of the items is the "Fundus Photos", if it was not part of the routine eye exam. Why did not HONTZ, JESSICA E advice the patient and ask for permission before she takes the photo? I did not request it nor have the budget for it, and obviously I did not benefit from this service.
