Our Mission Over 20 years ago when I began driving taxi, the goal of every taxi company was to give good service to individuals throughout the city of Providence & Rhode Island. Over the course of 20 years, the "service" part of the taxi industry has gradually disappeared. We see it not only in transportation, but in every other aspect of our life. Most current Taxi companies take their customers for granted or just neglect them entirely. The mission of Big Daddy Taxi & Coach is to give each customer that "old tyme" feeling of respect and appreciation. I don't believe I can bring back the "good old days", what I am attempting to do is remind people that companies can give the same quality service as they have in the past. Big Daddy. The company has created a blend of both Taxis and Coach-cars, vehicles include full size sedans, mini-vans, SUV's, and Lincoln town cars. While these vehicles are not brand new, they are clean and comfortable. We can satisfy groups up to 40 or 50 people, or a single customer. We would love to discuss "any of your transportation needs". Our drivers are fast, friendly and fair, hand picked, to treat you the way we would like to be treated. Our taxis pick up in Providence, Cranston, Lincoln, Johnston, Bristol, Barrington, Warren and T.F.Green airport. Our Coach cars are able and willing to pick you up anywhere and of course take you anywhere.

Rude dispatcher poor service! Will never call again
Rude. Terrible service. The cab never showed up. And the dispatcher screamed at me for aggravating him.
BY FAR THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. BESIDES HAVING AN EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL DRIVER, BEING CALLED DRUNKS, BEING HUNG UP ON, BEING LEFT IN AN UNSAFE AREA, BEING CURSED AT BY THE OWNER AND CALLED A LIAR... THEY WERE LATE AND HONKED THE HORN AT 11PM IN A FAMILY NEIGHBORHOOD. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EXPERIENCED SUCH A THING.
Big daddy taxi is horrible hands down ! Everytime I call them there's an issue but this time I learned my lesson . The dispatcher is always lying about the arrival of the cab and she has an attitude ! One time I had a drunk driver falling asleep on the road when I was on my way to a lupos concert. Ridiculous right ? Trust me they won't be getting a call from me anymore . I recommend economy cab 9446700 . They're always on time . Once again Bid Daddy Taxi Suckssss ! Don't waste you're time !
I CALLED THESE PEOPLE FOR A TAXI I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE A 45 MINUTE WAIT....NEEDLESS TO SAY IT'S BEEN OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF, WITH NO PHONE CALL ALL THEY SAID WHEN I CALLED WAS "I TOLD YOU IT WAS GOING TO BE AWHILE". YOU TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO BE 45 MINUTES I CALLED AT 715, IT'S 9 AM. THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 45 MINUTES AND AN HOUR AND A HALF , NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY AREN'T HERE YET.. THEN THE LADY SAYS THEY GUY THINKS HE'S ON YOUR STREET IT'S OFF OF PARK AVE RIGHT?? NOOOO I'M OFF OF DOUGLAS I EVEN TOLD THEM HOW TO GET HERE AVOIDING A LARGE HILL.
I'm Responding to reviews i've read and I just say using my free of speech right and Democracy.
To the public you don't have to stick around solely with one taxi servicer There are Hundreds of Other Taxi Companies.
Especially you are paying for it and it is out there for us They All Are Under the same statues and Goverened by one
An only but the PUC witch stands for PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISION . they run by this agency that exists to protect
Consumers .
so my advise to any one an everyone is to look for other avenues ,options , they are all over next time you are in the
city save as many telephone numbers to so many taxi's there is in the city, every where , they have taxi stands,
At Hotels , Train station, Hospitals ,University's , Colleges, schools, Kennedy Plaza, and like all they also go Every Where. Remember you as the customer call the shots you are paying and you expect Quality service if it wasn't for us the customers that take taxi's or public vehicle they would not have any Buisness Remember this.
SO DON'T BE AFRAID TO LOOK UP OTHER TAXI SERVICES AND SAVE THOSE NUMBERS TO THE CONTACT

this taxi company has no direction towards safety nor conducive hygiene or morals besides their vehicles being junk boxes an smelly unpleasant odors . they dont require their drivers or staff to a drug or alcohol abuse screening. their drivers are no better then the company founder misleading,flawed, a numskulls ,senseless, drivers are vagrant and big P is shiftless a stiff extorting out of drivers logs obligating them to contribute towards his frustrated failured manageral way he has this poor rediculous,rude,disagreeable inpatient, despicable moronic jerk with his worthless values, has no reasoning for the safety of the public ordering his vagrant drivers to make up time yelling to them over radio , consumers check out police logs on this company arrests made to their drivers for consuming and also unoapropiate activities for indecent picking up prostitutes
Big Daddy Taxi Service has been helping me with my transportation services for almost 2 years now and I don't want to go anywhere else. I have been left stranded by other taxis' companies when I have been to places in Downtown Providence and when I call Big Daddy he makes sure his drivers are there and if not they get in trouble. I like it that I get good service because sometimes I have problems getting in and out of vehicles and the drivers help me without any hesitation. Sean, Paul and the drivers are great so you never have to worry about a thing when you are in Big Daddy's Taxis or Coaches.
