Shaw, Perelson, May & Lambert, LLP ( formerly Shaw & Perelson, LLP ) represents a clientele of 45 School Districts in the Hudson Valley region, including 16 School Districts in Westchester County. The Attorneys in our firm are experienced in all facets of law affecting School Districts, including but not limited to Labor Law, Education Law, Constitutional Law and Municipal Law, with sub-specialties in Employment Law, Administrative Law, Civil Service Law, Municipal Finance Law, Construction Law and Litigation related to all of the above. All of the Attorneys in the firm are licensed to practice law in the State of New York and comply with all Continuing Legal Education requirements. Our firm typically represents School District clients under retainer arrangements sculpted to meet the particular School District's legal requirements. In order to meet the individual needs of our clients, the retainers run the gamut from basic to comprehensive. We practice preventive law by offering in-service training under our comprehensive retainers, delivered by Attorneys who are experienced and accomplished legal educators and practitioners. We also assist in the preparation of clear and concise policies that legally support the operations of the schools.
