The Columbia County Law Enforcement Department is a part of the government of Columbia County in Wisconsin. Based in Portage, Wis., the department is responsible for Cannabis enforcement and suppression for eradication of cultivated or noncultivated marijuana and cash rewards for confidential tips. It provides services, such as, drug education and enforcement and drug abuse resistance education for children to resist influences of experimenting alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, inhalants and other drugs. The Columbia County Law Enforcement Department is also responsible for Emergency Management such as disaster preparedness, carbon monoxide safety tips, sandbag information and all hazards mitigation plan and more.
