Not recommended. Meeting with Gail Zinberg LICSW for individual therapy was probably one of the worst decisions in my life. In her naive attempts to support me, she almost ended my marriage. I left her sessions feeling angry with myself and my family to the point where I thought the only option was to get out. This went on for many weeks until I had the courage to change therapists. Gail Zinberg did not take my not decision well. My new therapist is wonderful - and has verbalized his disapproval of Gails Zinberg's methods and vocabulary. I now feel much healthier and happier and no longer leave sessions with days of lingering anger and resentment. I hope this helps others as I'm sure there are many great therapists out there. If you don't feel right about the one that you have, change, and keep changing until you find someone with enough experience, compassion and sound judgement to make a difference.
