Horrible conditions, the place smells rancid, and they have the worse staff/customer service of any place ive ever been.

Ive purchased quite a few fish from this place, and to my dismay, the most of them died. Which brings me to my next point, their very dissapointing warranty on most of their animals. I say most because not all animals are covered. A twenty four hour warranty is issued, but only on fish under ten dollars.

A close friend of mine bought a severely malnurished kitten here out of pity. She come to find out it had some type of worm in its brain.

Id rather drive two hours to charleston than give these rude people my business. I hope you would also.

This place is the worst pet store I've ever been in. I bought two syrian hamsters from these people
theses hamsters can not be tamed and will bit anything that tries to come near them. One sits and stares
into space. While the other hisses at whatever happenes to be in the room. And another problem thier staff is sucky.
I called to see if i could just exchange them or give them back for no money but they woul'nt evan do that!
They deserve to be shut down, it smells and when you walked past the puppies i could cleary see thier ribs!
So please do not use this store.

This place made me sick to my stomach!!! After spending 15 minutes in the facility I thought I had lost the ability to breathe! It was stunk so bad! I knew there would be some smell, because after all it is a pet store but I wasn't prepared for what was behind those doors!

I think it would be a nice place if they would just clean more! Also the staff seemed to be bothered with any questions I asked, they didnt want to answer any questions. However when they did it was not very explanitory.

I have to say it does smell but I have bought a dog, bunny, hamster, and another hamster and I have to say the staff is on the weird side so I mean they have every thing but I am not buying any more anmials from them because I want a monkey they don't sell monkey lol

Went in there to buy canned milk to feed a kitten and noticed the sell by date was scratched off. Going down the isle I found an alarming amount of products with dates from 2009 and too many to count where the dates have been scratched off. Obviously they don't care if your pet gets sick or not. Then I went to check out the reptiles which 3 in the window had mites. You could see them crawling all over them. I'll stick with Petco and pay a little higher price.

This place is the most disgusting smelling store I have ever been in. And the owners are absolutely rude and have to respect for customers or even the animals they sell. I bought a pet rat recently and the guy who went to get him for me, THREW him into the box and when he got up to the counter he TOSSED it on to the hard surface. They need to treat the animals with respect. All they care about is money. I also had my debit card and the woman said "you HAVE to use your pin" but I forgot it and usually run it as credit anyway...so I was about to leave and she says "wait I can force it as credit"....BUT SHE LIED BECAUSE IT CHARGES THEM A SMALL FEE TO RUN IT AS CREDIT AND THEY WANT EVERY PWNNYTHEY CAN SQUEEZE FROM PEOPLE. THIS PLACE IS NASTY AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND. GO TO PETCO INSTEAD.

A locally owned small town petstore isn't going to be like petsmart. Get off your high horse people. They are just trying to make a living.

I was lookin for supplies for my curly tail lizard. Im in the middle of no pet stores. Ran across Mikes Krittter Kastle by researching online. Tryed another pet store because of the reviews for Mikes. Ended up at Mikes and it aint that bad. I wouldnt recommend buying fish from them but other than that everything else seemed good. The birds, lizards, snakes, & dogs seemed like good animal to choose from. The store is not spotless but with all the fish tanks its expected.

At first I thought this pet store would be great. But when I got my fish home, one started acting strange. I took all the actions to make sure he was ready to go into my tank. i have had my new fish for 3 hours and 2 out of the 7 have already died. avoid this place.

They have anything you need here, they are very kind people, and they know alot about the animals... It's a great place to go when in need of an animal, reptile, etc... and pet supplies!
