General Info

Joseph M. Earley III was admitted to the California Bar in 1992. Mr. Earley graduated in 1981 from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, and received his Master of Science degree in molecular biology from San Diego State University in 1984. Between 1984 and 1988, Mr. Earley attended the University of Arizona in the Ph.D. program in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. In 1991 Mr. Earley received his Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University. In 1992 Mr. Earley settled in Paradise, California. Mr. Earley?s law practice focuses on elder abuse and neglect, wrongful termination and estate planning. His employment practice concentrates on advising and representing employees of long term care facilities who are discriminated against for protecting residents?? rights. Mr. Earley has successfully litigated and resolved many other types of personal injury cases and provides free consultations for injury cas es.

Elder Abuse Elder abuse/neglect is a growing problem. My office is committed to protecting the elderly from physical, emotional and financial abuse. My primary focus is protecting residents of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Far too frequently residents in these facilities are injured or die because of neglect or substandard care. Such poor care is nearly always associated with under-staffing and lack of training and supervision. While most caregivers at these facilities are hardworking and caring, the owners and/or administrators simply refuse to pay for sufficient staff to accommodate the needs of their residents.
