Best Buy a Mixed Bag

Best Buy electronic stores are well lit and organized. They all but forget you after you have made your purchase. If you bring your computer in for repair be prepaired to wait in a long slow moving line. If you must return an item for what ever reason bring more money, they charge a 10% restocking fee. And if you contact them by phone be prepared for a long sit on hold.
To sum up Best Buy, they are usually the same price as other electronic stores. But they are reluctant to satisfy, after you've made your purchase

Horrible experience trying to preorder a Galaxy s8 from here

So I preodered my phone and all was good I came in on launch day to pick up my phone. Unfortunately while they were trying to activate my phone with at&t I was told I could not port my phone number to my new Galaxy s8 so they gave me a temporary number and told me to go to at&t to Port my number.

I ended up going to at&t they gave me a number to call, I called that number, they told me to talk with bestbuy, I went back to best buy, they gave me a number to call, I called that number and they told me to go to at&t, and finally at&t told me to go back to best buy.

This horrible back and forth experience was enough and I decided to return my phone , so when I go to bestbuy to return it they want to change me a $35 restocking fee for returning the phone cause they screwed up in the first place, not only that but they told me at&t is going to charge me a activation fee and minutes used on the phone.

So in the end I don't have the phone that I preodered and I actually owe money just cause this best buy has no idea how to run their cell phone department, I never experienced anything like this I'm never shopping here again and I would not recommend this best buy to anyone.

Best Buy is a group of slipper...

Best Buy is a group of slippery dirtbags, I purchased a T.V and noticed the salesman hesitating as to what register to use (therer's a reason) He ended up using the register in the T.V dept. When I went to return my T.V the manager said they would have to send me a check. They have a sign above the checkout stations that states all refunds over $300.00 will have to be made via check.Wait a minute I paided cash, yet my refund was going to be mailed to me. Now I did not catch it at the time, but that is why the salesman checked me out in the T.V. dept. so I would not see the return policy The T.V. dept did NOT have that sign posted in their dept.
The main reason for writing you a check EVEN when you paid cash, is because they have an account that draws interest, that is funded by peoples cash. If you have a million people due a refund at $300.00 (or more) each ....well thats $300 million dollars in that account.What would $300 million dollars earn in interest for lets say for a week. Easy math. Their salepeople are liars, I called to see if they had a product
and was told"Ya we have it" only to drive down there and find out they did not,and never did have the product. The only reason I gave them Two stars is because I had a Viper alarm system installed there and that dept, did AWESOME work.And I returned a broken Razer gaming mouse, and was given 100% of my purchase money back, after one and a half years of use. I do believe Best Buy will claim bankruptcy within the next year (my opinion). I love YP it lets you PAYBACK all the Bad Businesses, while praising the Good Ones

poor customer service

So I have been trying to get a hold of a manager for over 3 weeks now and every time I call I get transfered to some department or some other store entirely in another city, worst yet is several times they tell me to hold and just set the phone down and you can hear all the employees laughing and talking like they dont have any work to do or like im not on the phone waiting for a manager. Then after waiting and getting hung up on and having to call back 20 times in a 2 hour period and really getting no where and not even getting my question answered they tell me the manager is not there today, but this is the same story day after day so i decide to go in to the store but making sure that he the manager is there first so i show up and all of a sudden he is no where to be found. I strongly believe that Best Buy needs to treat they telephone customers with an equal amount of urgency as anyone in the actual store. This situation has pushed me to spread the word on how BAD Worst Buy is and make me not want to go there for anything even if that means me going down to Frys Electronics.

Car radio install 2 thumbs up! The two technicians, Jessie and Andrew set up a convenient appointment. They know their trade and treated me as a valued customer with kindness and informative answers. They installed my new XM Radio within a matter of minutes with absolutely no damage or mess to the interior to my vehicle!. The two gentlemen answered all of my questions and took care of all my needs with skill. Suggested items were installed wth prompt, efficient and excellent service. I am a very pleased with their service with a smile. I recommend this store for good service. Thanks! You both deserve an "Atta Boy" recognition. Much appreciation!Marilyn Jackson,Palmdale, CA
