I will give this review for stars because I love the Salvation Army and what it stands for. I was there today the third of May 2013 and the lady behind the cash register accused me and my wife of stealing. I could not believe it I come in there to buy books to donate to the local shelters in jail it is a passion of mine. We have very good friends there she look at us like we were scum I think it was kama it would have to be prejudices toward people who are non white. My wife is Jewish and I am Native American Andover form do and she overheard that. She didn't stop this once she didn't say oops I'm sorry I forgot to bring that up because that is what happened she called at Steves and not to us two other people in the store and to her coworkers. This woman should not be working with the public she is a prejudiced racist bigot. I'm sorry now that I ever went there to have fun and celebrate my wifes birthday by bargain shopping like we all do. I have never stolen a thing in my life and my wife is an ex police officer. It was one of the worst thing that has happened to us since we've moved to Paducah Kentucky. I will never go there again even if it is only her she has brought anger and sadness to my life and I don't deserve that! If you can put up with racism then by all means you'll feel it home there! The saddest thing I think I've ever done in many years is make this review. I run a large non profit organization to help people improve their lives through humor and good thoughts. Remember you can change the world 1 smiley at a time I wish and I pray that this woman learn that someday.
