Dr.Clayton Potter is one of the most compassionate vets you will ever deal with. He has been my vet for over 18 years. He will let you know what is wrong with your animal and treat it accordingly. I had to have my 17 year old dog put down today due to old age and arthritis. He explained exactly what he was going to due and what to expect. He is so understanding that the pet was like a family member and his compassion was unbelievable. Unlike some vets who are stuffy and don't tell you much. He has an outgoing personality that might throw some people off. But Clayton is a person who is the type of person who is full of life. First time I met him a vet in Illinois wanted to charge me 1,200.00 to treat my dog. Clayton is the Doctor Doolittle of the Veterinary world,he looked over animal told me what was wrong and gave me medication to give dog and charged me 25.00 and in a week the dog was great, I have to travel 80 miles from Illinois but it is well worth it GOD Bless Potter is a 5*VET

clean, very professional....Iwas traveling and my dog was sick and needed to be hospitalized. It was close to 5pm and the vet waited for me. They ran bloodwork and fixed the problem with his blood-sugar. My regular vet has to call and ask for advice! hurray for Heartland Vet

The owner assulted me and became extremely violent just because I was checking on my dog

A man that claimed to be Dr. Potter, the owner, grabbed my neck and threatened to "Kick my a... " for going on his property. The Livingston Co. dog catcher takes dogs there that he captures I thought my missing dog Midnight, might be there. Very very rude!!!!! He tried to intimidate us. I filed a police report and will see what happens on Monday!
