Established in 1897, Marillac is a private, nonprofit agency providing psychiatric treatment for children with emotional and behavioral disorders. The organization offers several care programs, including hospital, residential, outpatient and family therapy. It also provides educational services to disabled children. Marillac offers complete assessments that include medical assessments, psychiatric evaluations and substance abuse history reports. It also offers educational evaluation, family social history reports, psychological testing, prognoses and sexual abuse evaluations. Additionally, it has a hospital that provides more than 30-bed facility and offers full range of professional therapeutic services. Marillac is approved by the Joint Commission of HealthCare Organizations as well as the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The organization is located in Overland Park, Kan.
