      I had the privilage of taking ...

      I had the privilage of taking my father to this physician about a month ago, and I should of been taking him here all along; Dr. Nwaogwugwu and his staff were professional and compassionate about my fathers medical needs. I have been an RN for well over 20 years and I know when I have found an excellent Physician to take care of my fathers medical needs.He has a diversied staff that are easy to get along with. I also met with the Office Manager; Aisha who came in and introduced herself to us and welcomed us to PPMRC; this is the exact treatment I would expect from others in the medical field. Thanks Dr. Nwaogwugwu and Aisha for making my father feel good at your office.

      About Our Practice The Physiatric Pain & Medical Rehabilitation Clinic (PPMRC ) is a full service pain management clinic founded by Nnamdi Nwaogwugwu M.D. in 2002. Our mission as a medical practice is to provide professional, comprehensive, compassionate, excellent and cost-effective medical care to all injured patients. Dr Nwaogwugwu, a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R ) specialist who is also a Northwestern and Mayo Clinic alumnus is uniquely qualified to evaluate all musculoskeletal injuries which may arise and develop a patient specific, detailed treatment plan to limit pain, and disability and improve his patients quality of life. Our comprehensive treatment plan will consist of medically supervised rehabilitation consisting of moist heat, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hydro bed treatments, various massage techniques to limit pain and suffering under the care of a license therapist and supervised by doctor Nwaogwugwu. The patient's will also be provided passive-active range of motion exercises and gentle joint specific stretching and strengthening program to increase flexibility, range of motion while improving patients strength, conditioning and decreasing pain. Periodic medical follow ups do occur with the treatment team and modifications (including trigger point injections ) to patients care are continually made to ensure quality and excellent results. Dr. Nwaogwugwu also provides Nerve Conduction /EMG testing to assist other physicians with complex medical cases by electro physiologically ruling in or out cervical and lumbar radiculopathies, plexopathies, peripheral neuropathies, ulnar and median neuropathies and recommending an appropriate course of treatment.
