      Operational since 1964, Lifeways Mental Health Services provides a range of community-based behavioral health care services in Malheur County, Ore. It offers drug counseling, psychiatric, forensic treatment, respite care, critical incident and education services. The facility also provides residential and employment support programs for people with developmental disabilities and chronic mental illnesses. Lifeways Mental Health Services offers prevention, substance abuse, diagnosis and medication management services. It operates alcohol and drug behavior therapy, adult anger management and Parenting Wisely groups. The facility ensures compliance with the National Department of Human Services and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Lifeways Mental Health Services employs more than 45 staff members and is a part of Lifeways, which also operates Lifeways Umatilla. It maintains a location in Ontario, Ore.
