We have been working with Max Irrigation for the past 11 or more years. We have always had the owner Lewis work on our sprinkler since he only lives a few blocks away. Lately, he has become rude, unreliable and careless. We had a sprinkler appointment that was rescheduled a couple of times (twice on Lewis' part and once on my husbands), which is no biggie. But, here is the kicker. Lewis called my husband and told him that he would swing by one evening (as he usually just comes by after hours and works for us since we're in the neighborhood). My husband waited and waited...no Lewis and no call. My husband tried to get hold of him the next day and again, nothing. Of course this is upsetting as our grass has been burning up for a while and when husband tells him this he texted back..."use the water hose!" This ticked off my husband and he texted him and asked if he still wanted our business or if we should go somewhere else. Lewis texted back, "go somewhere else." It was really a blessing in disguise because we found a reputable company that believe it or not the technician knew Lewis and used to work with him at Millard Sprinkler. He mentioned that he wasn't surprised about what had happened because he has heard many complaints about Lewis and his business ethics. The "real" sprinkler company technician commented on how cheap the materials were that Lewis had been using on our system and he replaced them. It even costs us less that it ever did with Lewis and they did a professional job. They also ran through the entire system before they left and checked everything. They were on time and on point. Bottom line...don't give your time or money to a grumpy, washed up, bitter divorced man (yea, he told us all about that too), who is struggling to keep his existing customers happy and who is using cheap material and taking advantage of people who don't know any better. Max Irrigation, you're fired!!!!
