      Greater Omaha Packing Company is one of the oldest manufacturers of beef products in the United States. The company operates a more than 30,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility and over 60,000-square-foot refrigerated warehouse. The company s forklifts are equipped with computer terminals that allow the operators to log products in and out. In addition, it provides shipping services to its clients. The company has a testing and research laboratory that works to develop new and effective methods of preventing and removing bacteria. The packaged products go through controlled atmosphere, steam vacuums, hot water and acid rinse cabinets and steam pasteurization cabinets. Greater Omaha Packing Company, established in 1920, is located in Omaha, Neb.
