I wasn't going to say anything because I am person that doesn't speak negatively about someone else but since a friend of mine read the negative review a couple of weeks ago about attorney Robert Downey of Oakmont pa she notified me. I read it and must say that I have hired Robert Downey for legal services and have experienced the same negative treatments and results. The positive reviews that he received of three years ago that he recevied surprise me because he is nothing like that anymore. Who really know, those reviews could have been his friends and he therefore could have rigged the whole thing. What ever (if not) then he apparently changed and for the worst. Well I feel that it is my duty to let people know this so that they will not suffer and get swindled by hiring Mr Robert Downry. Thank You.

My associate and I had used Mr. Robert Downey for legal services and were upset with him.. He started off by appearing to act and express himself in his office meeting with us as very knowledgeable and was constantly trying to explain himself and express his knowledge to us. His attitude and expressions were in a superior nature as if he had a chip on his shoulder and was venting steam to us. My partner had to take a trip with him on a later date and my partner said that he would not stop talking about himself and his past; even his childhood. It was very uncomfortable and frustrating to be with him. He could not get a word in the conversation with Mr. Downey. Mr. Downey did not seem very knowledgeable in his legal profession and most certainly did not act professional. He was the cheapest of the attorneys that we picked from so we tried him; BUT you know what they say "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". Save yourself money time and aggravation; DON'T USE ROBERT DOWNEY!!! I wish I knew!!

This is one good guy and a fine lawyer. Once again he saved me from making a mistake that could have cost myself and my family a fortune. I recommend him to anyone that needs a down to earth guy that is not all talk.

Rob is an OUTSTANDING Lawyer. He has Successfully helped me with several Major Legal issues involving the Custody of my children. Attorney Downey has an encyclopedic knowledge of the criminal law, and experience with the players (judges, ADA's, police, etc.) so that he is able to accurately predict the course a case is likely to take. He is also brutally honest in his evaluations. He will not mislead you. He also has exceptional courtroom skills. He has represented members of my family as well as neighbors and friends. Extremely impressive.
