      General Info
      Founded in 1933, the Shore and Country Club is a private family club that has a more than 14,000-square-foot clubhouse, grille room, dining area with dance floor and yachting facilities. The club also features a dining alcove, outdoor patio, lounge and bar. It features tennis courts with a pro shop and veranda, as well as offers food service. In addition, the club has a wading pool for children and an Olympic-size swimming pool that features a diving area, locker rooms, toilet facilities and showers. It offers the Junior Sailing Program and organizes several seasonal activities, including picnics and dinner dances. Additionally, the club offers day trips, exercise classes and lectures. The Shore and Country Club is located in Norwalk, Conn.
