Picked up dinner from Joe's Out last night. We ordered the Pan Fried Chicken Livers and a double order of mashed potatoes. The portions are large enough for 2 people so we planned to share...Unfortunately neither the livers or potatoes were edible. The potatoes had turned a disgusting shade of brown from being in the warmer too long and the livers were over cooked and tasted like they had been cooked in year old fish grease. I called about the potatoes before trying the livers...should have waited. Won't be going back to waste another $11! Ended up having to make scrambled eggs and toast for our dinner!

I am a gastric bypass patient who recently went to the Sunday brunch buffet with my husband at Joe's Inn- Bon Air. Joe's used to be a favorite restaurant of mine, but when I asked to pay the children's price for the buffet, I was told no. Even though I had documentation from my surgeon's office that my stomach holds a maximum of four ounces of food, I was told that if I wanted to eat food from the buffet, I would have to pay the full regular price. It's too bad that the owner does not respect patrons with medical conditions. I used to always recommend Joe's Inn. Anytime my family was in town, I would take them there. I will not patronize Joe's Inn again. They have permanently lost my business.
