The Hamilton County Highway Department is responsible for the maintenance of transportation infrastructure systems within the county. It handles various new construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation projects for roads and highways. The department also offers small structure replacement and intersection improvement services. In addition, the Hamilton County Highway Department provides resurfacing, chipping, sealing and snow removal services. It also conducts in-house programs for the conversion of chip and seal roadways to asphalt streets. Additionally, the department provides solutions for various drainage problems. The Hamilton County Highway Department also maintains traffic counts on more than 750 collector and arterial road segments. It is located in Noblesville, Ind.
