The repair man was prompt. He diagnosed the problem quickly called for more help when needed, got started on the job right away and was done in a timely manner. Both were polite and explained what was needed in easy to understand language. As good an experience as you can have when you need a plumber.

Henry and Roto-Rooter were incredibly helpful and professional. Henry came out late at night and told us the cost of a temporary fix vs a permanent fix. We chose the permanent fix, and Henry was back the next day to replace the pipe. Henry also spent quite a bit of time getting our rusted trash disposal off. He made sure not to damage the disposal, and then replaced all the rusted parts.

The company was able to resolve the problem in less than 2 hours, but they charge me a $998 to unclog a pipe and make a repair to one of the pipes. They are ridiculously expensive.

Not pleased with RR!! They replaced a connection from my copper waterline to the pvc coming from the road last year, and the connection has already failed. I dug it up myself to find water shooting out of the connection. They were not willing to offer me any kind of discount to come back out and fix it again even though I had already dug it up myself. Honestly, I am not sure I would want them to come back even if they would do it for free because I do not trust the quality of their work!

From my experience, the reason Roto Rooter of Scranton has a high rating because when the bill is presented for payment, not only does the technician rave about the Thursday motivational meetings that teach how to get the most from each customer, his skills of distraction are far better than septic repair. What seems like a canned infomercial goes on about how every customer who leaves a review is entered into a drawing to win $500.

Since I am finally submitting a review, please consider this my entry. At least if I should win the drawing if in fact there is one, it will bring my loss to $3600 instead of $4100.

A technician, who the Scranton office said was their most honest and capable employee disconnected the septic, illegally dumped over 1000 gallons of raw sewage on an adjacent property with a sump pump caused $4100 damage to date. By the time the repair is complete it will cost over $20,000.

We had gurgling in the sink. After he checked my sewer pipe and drain pipe that were perfectly clear. He thought he should route them out anyway, charged $270 for nothing and it is still gurgling. I had another company come out and they shut off the RO tank and it stopped right away. Waste of money. Unless you know your problem and it entails rooting out a drain, don't call them.

horrible service. excuse of a company stay away.... call perrysburg plumbing instead. called them out since there was a smell in one of the bathrooms that wouldn't go away. we tried everything we could. so i thought i would get a "professional " opinion. they come out the plumber was there for three and half hours. and did not do anything but snake the toilet and pour buckets of water in the toilet. he changed the flush lever and fill valve. and they are charging me close to $500 for that. after all that they still couldn't fix the toilet and recommend changing the toilet. I tried contacting them to talk about it they said they would get back to me but they don't and send me a collections notice after 4 months. we were going back an forward to solve the issue they brought the invoice down to 350.which is still a rip off for what they did they didn't even diagnose the real issue and they hung up on me.... great customer service.

They say they serve Crawfordsville area but when you call they tell you they don't serve the area.. They shouldn't list they don't serve saying the do, a complete waste of time,

Roto-Rooter pilumbers, date of service 2/12/16. We had a problem with our pipes. Couple of them froze and exploded. Our technician, Zak, showed up, identified the problem right away, ran out to get the part and was able to correct the situation. He did great on a difficult job and everything works good. Would recommend to anyone else and consider myself a repeat customer. Thanks.

The lady that answers the phone is rude and defensive. They charge way to much for a septic pump, almost double the locally recommended guy. I was given a much lower estimate by the first person i spoke to over the phone.

Very misleading it clearly states now serving Bowling Green Kentucky and when you contact them they will gladly let you know they don't serve Bowling Green Kentucky. Somebody should probably fix that.

We couldn't be happier with the outstanding service provided by Jim and Melvin with the Charleston, WV franchise today! The response time was fast and the service was excellent. Even after running into a problem and having to go for parts, the charge was very reasonable. As an added bonus, they even showed us how to use a small hot water tank for a spare bathroom that has not been used since we bought our house..



Everything and everyone - the person who answered the initial call, the fast response time, the friendly, professional and courteous gentlemen who came to our house, the repair, and the cost - was top notch!

Roto-Rooter performed the work right on time as scheduled for me. As a matter of fact, I called them at 8 and they were there at 9. Pretty quick!

made an appointment yesterday for today with a two hour window and right at the time they were suppose to come they called and said that there technicians couldn't get to me today, I am very upset they knew I was in a time crunch with a city notice had to be completed by Friday which I only got a three day notice from the city or my water would be turned off...I was told we can reschedule for tomorrow or Friday or you can call around and find someone else....sorry I don't think this is good business, trying Reddi Rooter tomorrow.

Just kudos!!!...In addition to all the great reviews about Roto Rooter services...We want to add raves about their prompt appearance at the exact time they promised and delivered in a very proffessional way a complete and efficient draining system clearance.We are thrilled with their work and reasonable charges.

They took excellent care of our backed up sewer drain. It was the city's problem, but Roto Rooter came out twice, cleaned our lines and called the city for us. I am so impressed. I will always call Roto Rooter if I have a drain problem.

Service was outstanding came out same day within two hours of the call. Evan the Plummer was very helpful and repaired everything under a hour. Overall very please with the repair. We will use them again for sure.

I called Roto-Rooter in Spokane, WA to pump my septic. They are in the middle of a move and have several new staff members in their office. This caused scheduling to be a bit of a challenge. They showed up late both days they were scheduled to be there but did make it on the day. They did call and reschedule one day we had previously agreed on. This was not a big deal. I was assured that the tardiness was due to the office relocating and the scheduling staff becoming accustomed to the software they use. Once the field workers and techs got to the site, things moved quickly. Most of the personnel involved were professional and new their trade well. I feel like the job was in very skilled hands. The price was agreeable. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Roto-Rooter!

In past experiences I've almost always had bad eluck with contractors. The past three times I've contacted Roto Rooters for professional repair, they've always been kind, courteous, and speedy in their repair, with quality as their forerunner. Just recently had pipes in basement replaced as the connectors were falling apart over time, and their employee was experienced and quick. Thank you guys for being the one stop solution for plumbing.
