A guitarist's candy store. My music geek reawakens every time I set foot in here. They have just about every possible classical or flamenco guitar. Huge sheet music selection, some stuff you barely recognize, but want to take home anyways. Will definitely be bringing the squids for music lessons here.

This is THE BEST music store in NYC. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and laid back. Most of them are musicians, and they don't act like car salesman. They'll help you find what you want and let you browse through the store to your hearts content. High quality music lessons from extremely professional teachers as well! If you don't see something you want, they can always order it for you.

Rules. Great gear. Master salesman. Beautiful in-stores. Everything you want in a guitar shop without all the things you despise about guitar shops. Bought a Hopf Conservatory II there and it changed my little life.

When I walked into Luthier I was in awe. There is such a wide selection of guitars and accessories. I am so happy that I found this place so I can now live my dream.

I found A John Price guitar, I was amazed at the beautiful tone, excellent balance and powerful projection. Well.. Now I own three J. Price guitars. Thank you Luthier Music for housing such an excellent collection of guitars, accessories and sheet music. It is a pleasure to walk into the store and not only find such a fantastic selection of sheet music, guitars and accessories but to experience the excellent service by Tony and his staff.

I visited Luthier and I felt just like a little kid in a candy store! I truly felt like I did not know where to begin!!! I am looking forward to returning in the near future to purchase some more sheet music and try out some of the beautiful guitars in his shop. This place carries a wide selection of classic guitars, flamenco guitars, and more. Additionally they carry many CDs, DVDs, MP3s, Records and Music Books. It's great, I can go there and buy some music I can later download to my iPod. If you need to repair your guitar this is the place to go. But even if you don't have a guitar and you want to learn how to play it, this is definitely the place to go.

These guys will tell you what they honestly think of the guitars in the store, and try to help you out in the long run by getting something great. I appreciate that in a store like this. Thanks Guys!

This place is the best! I always feel welcome when i come here. They don't even mind if I hang out for a while and look around. They never try to get me to buy anything and they have an awesome selection of guitars. You can definitely tell these people care about music, instruments, and the people who play them. Go here and no where else.

This is my number one stop-to-shop for guitars and accessories. I love coming to Luthier Music Co. I can always find the guitar strings that i am looking for in any tension. They have everything for your guitar needs!

I would be happy to recommend this shop! Everyone in the shop is very helpful and patient. I did not feel pressured and they did not oversell their products. They have an amazing collection of CD's and DVD's.They also gave me lots of time to try out different guitars until i found the right one! This is my number one place!

I play in a band in the city, and whenever I need my guitar's to be strung I come here. I also know some of the guys that work their, and they are pretty knowledgeable about music and more importantly about guitars. I would recommend them if you are looking for a new guitar.

The book selection is extensive and the learning videos provided for Flamenco and classical guitar are outstanding. I purchased a Conde Hermanos Guitar from LMC and have been pleased with all they provide. The staff is always kind and friendly with a welcomed smile. Excellent!!

I started looking for my guitar, after going to a few stores in the city, a friend refer me to Luthier Music and that was it! They have the best selection of classical guitars in the city, I bought a beautiful guitar at a reasonable price and the staff was very helpful!
