The organization s capital fund is worth nearly $2 billion. Carnegie Corporation of New York was founded in 1911 and has headquarters in New York. Its recent grantees include The Aspen Institute, Brown University, University of Connecticut, The Institute for Educational Leadership, National Academy of Sciences, Fund for Peace and the American Association of People with Disabilities.
