      General Info

      Dr. Carpenter is part of an elite group of general dentists who performs both the surgical and restorative phases of implant dentistry. He performs all aspects of general dentistry with particular emphases on cosmetic, comprehensive restorative, smile makeover, periodontal and implant dentistry. Sedation dentistry is offered to allow a more comfortable and stress-free visit. He is Past President of the Newburgh Dental Society and Education Chairman of the Ninth District Dental Society. Dr. Carpenter graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in Chemistry. He obtained is Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University and completed a residency program at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY emphasizing Oral Implantology. Dr. Carpenter and his wife have two sons. He enjoys golf, travel and gardening. We look forward to serving your dental needs, give us a call!

      After being a patient of Dr. Carpenter's for many years, I now understand why he's being asked to lecture at various dental association meetings - he has tremendous knowledge of dentistry. And not just one or two areas, but ALL areas of his profession. Dr. Carpenter spends however long it takes to explain procedures to his patients, to make sure that crowns fit comfortably the first time around. I've had friends who go to other offices and they have NIGHTMARE stories about the number of times they have to go back because their crowns or their bridge don't fit right. Not so with Carpenter. From day one, your crown or bridge will fit comfortably and look as if it belongs to the rest of your teeth. His office is the best - hands down.
