      The Water Authority of Western Nassau County has approximately 28,000 customers. It serves a population of approximately 120,000 people in portions of western Nassau County on Long Island in New York. Water quality monitoring of all public supply wells and treated water in the distribution system is performed routinely in accordance with the requirements of the Nassau County Department of Health. One of the critical missions at the Water Authority of Western Nassau County is to keep its customers well informed as to issues facing the water industry. In this regard, Water Authority of Western Nassau County offers the Annual Water Quality Reports. These reports are in compliance with New York state public health law and federal regulations.
