Raynal Studios is a fully accredited, family owned and operated, full service studio. Our primary focus is the professional restoration of historically significant stained glass windows and there settings. Every stained glass window that is restored or produced by our studio is of the very best quality, whether it is a fully restored $ 500,000.00 Tiffany Studios window, or a new, simple diamond light window Since its founding in 1991, Raynal Studios has flourished with a client base of churches and institutes desiring not the lowest price, but the best Quality. John M. Raynal, founder of Raynal Studios, began his training in stained glass restoration in 1981, serving an apprenticeship with a large stained glass company, working on projects throughout the eastern United States. Raynal Studios involvement with high profile restoration projects (Princeton University Chapel, Painted Fired glass for the Smithsonian Institute, Repair of Stained Glass in the Reading Room of the Library of Congress, etc.)Has given our studio the experience necessary for the successful completion of any stained glass project, no matter how large (or small) it may be. Our craftsmen are trained in the latest stained glass techniques recommended by the Stained Glass Association of America (S.G.A.A.) (www.stainedglass.org). Raynal Studios has been an active member of the SGAA since 1992 and a Fully Accredited Studio since 2000. Raynal Studios, Inc. is a professional alliance member of Partners for Sacred Places. John Raynal has been certified by the Cathedral Stone Corporation, Washington D.C in cut stone and masonry restoration since 1992. We also have experience restoration 19th Century plastering; including intricate stencil painting and gold leaf application. He is a former member of the board of directors for American Glass Guild and remains an active member.
