The first thing I noticed at the Chesapeake is the friendliness of both resident's and staff. They make you feel right at home and welcomed into their community as you tour the facility. Liz and the marketing staff took the time to know our specific situation and offer realistic options. They were very helpful in assisting with the transition once the decison was made move in. The facility is great and the apartment is first class. The apartment was repainted, recarpeted, and retiled in selections we picked from the dozens of options available. It is truly a place to live in and enjoy. My wife and I rest much easier knowing there is a great healthcare community to care for our relative if it's needed while still offering a great deal of independence.

This is the best place for retired living and continuous care that I have seen. My husband and I reviewed several places from coast to coast and in several states before settling on the Chesapeake. The Chesapeake is foremost in our mind for its friendly atmosphere. Everyone speaks to you, staff and residents alike, and you feel like you are living in a small town. There are so many amenities and activities; you can pick and choose what you are interested in. I challenge anyone to visit here and find out for yourself what a wonderful place this is.

The Chesapeake came highly recommended as we searched for a place to live out our retirement life. It's bright, beautiful and the staff is knowledgeble as well as highly professional. The cottage and apartment residences are roomy and stylish. Knowing that whatever may happen in our future that The Cheapeake is committed to us gives us a peace of mind that leaves us with nothing to do but have fun!

This is a beautiful continuing-care facility and a great place to live with very caring staff and residents. There are very active independent and assistant living areas plus outstanding health care and memory support units. It's almost like living on a cruise ship----there is an indoor swimming pool; a wonderful fitness center; health clinic; beauty shop; bank; gift shop. lovely formal dining room plus a casual cafe that is open every day until 7:30 pm. There is just about anything you could need or want right here!

Visited friend of the family. Wasn't my first visit and I've always found The Chesapeake to be bright and cheery. The receptionists have always been friendly and helpful. It was very nice to walk with my friend around the grounds and have lunch in the dining room. Our friend really likes living at The Chesapeake. There are a lot of activities and programs for her and her friends.

The Chesapeake was a fantastic choice for my parents. The quality and attractiveness of the facility are unrivaled, the diversity of activities superb, but it is the people who really make the difference. To a person the staff at The Chesapeake were courteous, helpful and caring and many became family friends. I cannot recommend The Chesapeake highly enough
