General Info

We feed approximately 150 children every week and have an after school program ONE DAY a week for 15 children. During the after school session we take them on field trips. Help them DO their homework. Feed them dinner and work on social skills. These are children WHO would otherwise BE alone until their CAREGIVER comes home from work. Only ONE of OUR children in this group of 15 has TWO parents. Three of the fifteen live with someone other than a parent and ALL have lost a sibling or a parent to violence. We would like to expand OUR after school program but need resources to DO SO. Mission statement: the Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes. More specifically to feed. House. Clothe and provide for needs of needy and foster children and their CAREGIVERS in the greater NEW orleans metropolitan area and is organized to BE a perpetual organization.
