It is a crisis intervention service provide by the Coastal Horizons Center, which is a private, nonprofit agency that serves people in eastern North Carolina. The center provides substance abuse, case management, outpatient treatment and criminal justice services. It also offers risk reduction counseling and education programs. The center s Horizons Housing program provides permanent supportive housing solutions for homeless clients. In addition, it manages the Rape Crisis Center, which offers support groups for the victims of sexual assault. The center provides medical diagnostic tests for HIV. Coastal Horizons Center offers programs that enhance verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
