It's pretty inside and fairly easy to get around .A lot of the pieces in the museum was made in like the 1800s or 1900s.The collection was good and very interesting.

Museum is great. Useful for kids and they will have fun at this place. Maintenance was clean and neat. Everyone must visit this.

We recently attended the Octoberfest held at the Settlement. It was wonderful to have Octoberfest back in Naperville after many successful years provided by Rotary. The parking was easy; the food terrific (can't go wrong with My Chef) and the atmosphere congenial.Our complaint and those around us concerned the music or should I say the lack of German/Polish Octoberfest music. Yes in the afternoon there was some but not on Saturday night. We were surrounded by people of all ages asking where or when the Octoberfest music would happen. The band was fine just not appropriate for Octoberfest. One other problen and we feel this is a serious one is the abundance of strollers blocking the aisles. This was not allowed at the Rotary Octoberfest. It was considered dangerous in case of a fire.We suggest you have an area outside of the tent for stroller parking with a volunteer in attendence. The war reinactment is lots of fun for the kids, get good seats early. Also the all hollow eve was a blast to my kids.
