Dr Bishop always makes sure he answers all of your questions and keeps up with the latest treatments and procedures. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and treats your pet like they would their own. I'm definitely going to keep taking my pets there and would recommend it to others. My cat had several maladies and lived more than 2 more years after his diagnoses, and with his same happy quality of life, with his treatments that he got here.

Our first visit to this vet wa...

Our first visit to this vet was due to the result my small dog injured his leg and was limping. They immediately made room for an appointment ahead of other appt at the same time and explained to the other person waiting that this was more an emergency and took us without waiting. We expected costly X-Rays at the very minimum, however Dr. Bishop took our dog and placed him on a carpeted floor and explained that any fracture or break no dog will ever put weight on it and my dog was putting his weight on it while walking. He explained X-Rays were not necessary and after a full examination he was 99% sure it was nothing more then a sprain or an aggravation from arthritis as he didn't feel anything abnormal in the exam and my dog didn't show any signs of pain from moving the leg. He also examined his spine for disc problems and explained how the way my dog reacted after the exam showed no signs of disc problems as normal. He wrote us a prescription for some pain medication, however since we gave our dog aspirin the night before he couldn't use the best medication for fear of toxic reaction something we wish we knew ahead of time but was smart enough to ask us if we gave him anything then just assuming. The script he wrote was a pain medication and we were able to take to the pharmacy and cost $6. In 2 days my dog showed no more signs of limping and is 100% back to normal. The first office visit was only $9 for an office fee and $5 for clean up fees that all vets are now charging. So total bill was only $14 when I guarantee if we went anywhere else it would have cost us way more because most vets will X-Ray to pad the bill regardless if they believe it is needed or not and those are not cheap. What is also very nice is everyone you recommend their first office visit is $9 and you get a $40 credit to your account for future visits. This vet keeps his costs down by not passing on high costs of available prescription medication that other vets seem to push making you purchase them on site. $6 at Meijers for Tramadol was way cheaper then purchasing from a vet as we have in the past.Besides the fact they dont push expensive tests or medications Dr Bishop called us TWICE to see how our dog was doing, NEVER have I had a Vet ever call me to see how my pet was doing after any visit. I can't say enough about Dr. Bishop and his staff, they were all very nice and he explained everything. The follow up calls were totally unexpected as was the cost of spending 30 min in the exam room. Even though he had another customer waiting he didn't rush us and asked if we had any questions or concerns. You can not do any better then this facility. I know I have found a new home for all my future pet health care needs. Last time I took my pet to another vet for a non emergency check up, we walked out spending over $200, enough said!

Took my puppy in with a coupon to get checked. It was horrible. Made me feel like I would be a bad pet owner unless I bought a ton of products. I ended up with things for ears, teeth and others. I have owned pets my whole life and was never treated like this before. BEWARE
