- Wrongful DeathJeff Rambin has experience in both State and Federal courts, at the trial and appellate levels. A recent notable decision is In re Brown, No. 12-18-00295-CV, 2019 Tex. App. LEXIS 1666 (Tex. App.—Tyler Mar. 5, 2019) (orig. proceeding) (mem. opinion). This groundbreaking decision gave defendants new leverage to fight back against inflated medical damages. Another notable decision is Weber v. PACT XPP Techs., A.G., 811 F.3d 758, 768 (5th Cir. 2016). This oft-cited decision resolved multi-layered procedural questions concerning where international disputes should be tried. He also obtained dismissal with prejudice and an award of attorneys fees in a wrongful death case dealing with the overlap between premises liability and health care liability claims. Smith v. Southeast Texas Cardiology Associates, 09-18-00438-CV, ___ S.W.3d _____, (Tex.App.—Beaumont, July 10, 2019).

After making the Dean’s List at Baylor University School of Law and graduating in 2016, he spent time in solo practice in a variety of areas, including but not limited to, assisting clients with immigration issues and real estate matters. Zachary joined the firm in 2019 and is focusing on real estate transactions/litigation as well as a variety of other civil litigation defense matters.
