General Info
Casual Caribbean neighborhood restaurant & bar. with outdoor seating in the summer months. Classic Caribbean fare not so much with a twist, but rather just executed properly, simply, not overdone or over-embellished with just a hint of excitement. We cringe at terms like fusion. Just let the food be food. When we opened these doors way back in May 2003, we had one definite vision, a commitment to a menu inspired by Jamaica, but without boundaries. Just good simple food and the freedom to pull from any cuisine and make it our own. 16 years later we are proud to see so many other Caribbean kitchens following our lead by removing the shackles of strict adherence to conventional fare and allowing their creativity to guide menu developmentCasual Caribbean neighborhood restaurant & bar. with outdoor seating in the summer months. Provided by YP.comLooking for a restaurant in which you will get the caribbean feel...well then I would highly recommend that you visit The Ripe restaurant. The food is great (I love the fried red snapper) and the service is great as well. I suggest that you make reservations prior to visiting the restaurant other wise you will have to experience some waiting time but, for those who do not mind the wait can have a seat at the bar and enjoy a refreshing Rum Punch while you listen to the soft beats to the reggae music.

i've had the pleasure of dining at Ripe many times...and i have been quite pleased every single time.....When you're at Ripe, you almost get the feeling that you are actually in a restaurant in Jamaica, the decour and atmosphere contribute to that dining in experience..... the food is absolutely wonderful.........I strongly recommend RIPE to anyone seeking carribbean cuisine....
