I think Coda Bar and Grill is a very nice place--love the atmosphere and food. I have only one complaint--the music is so loud that one cannot carry on a conversation with friends. One expects loud music at a bar not a restaurant. The last time I was there, even the waiter had to shout in order to be heard above the band that was performing. I doubt that I will be back--and it is a shame because it is a really cool place.

WOW! I found this really cool place downtown. Didn't know Monroe had an atmosphere like this. It's an old historic building, it's really neat. It looks like something you would see in New Orleans or Austin. They had live music and some of the best Southern cookin I've had in a long time. I highly recommend this place. I think they just opened too.
