      Occupations has various locations in New York, including one in Middletown is a community-based and nonprofit rehabilitation organization. The organization was founded in 1963, providing employment opportunities for developmentally disabled children. It is a human services agency, providing a variety of services, information, and referrals to more than 13,000 people each year. It offers a wide range of services for the adults, including employment services, transportation, recreation, residential opportunities, individual and group counseling, case management, partial hospitalization and intensive psychiatric services at various locations throughout the Orange County, N.Y. Its other various services include clinical, community outreach and career guidance and employment services and services for children and adolescents. In addition, Occupations provides individual and group counseling, case management, children's services and child welfare services for the children, parents and families.
