      The Mabel Tainter Theater is a travel destination in western Wisconsin not to be missed. Built in 1889, this 261-seat “crown jewel” Victorian theater in Menomonie boasts hand-stenciled walls and ceilings, marble staircase and floors, stained glass windows, four fireplaces and the original Steere & Turner tracker pipe organ. It’s absolutely breathtaking.
