Basswood Elementary School offers classes to students in grades kindergarten through six. Located in Maple Grove, Minn., the school provides education in various subjects, including art, music, physical education, foreign language, computer, science and math. The school provides guidance, media center and food services. The school is also the site of the district's food service production. Its parent-teacher organization offers a variety of programs and activities for families to become involved in their children's school experiences. Its enrichment activities for students are made possible through fundraising events sponsored by the parent-teacher organization. It has various after-school clubs, such as dance and taiko drum.
