I just moved here to Manchester and needed a Dr. that could that would take the time to talk to me without feeling rushed. I found Dr. Florance and his staff in Manchester,Tn when I made my first appointment I knew he was the one I wanted to care for me and my children. In just three visits he knew what was wrong with me when in 13 yrs no other Dr. could find. I give him and his staff a two thumbs up. His parking spaces in front of his Family Practice are all being used by his staff. His patients have to walk from the far side or the side of his parking lot. He has no smoking signs on his property but yet there are piles of cigarettes all over his parking lot. His pov is parked in a handicapped parking space but yet he has no handicapped plaque cards, or license plate on his pov. He has several photos of himself with several Country music stars on his walls for everyone to look at. His Staff is rude, especially the two young staff members that work his appointment desk. The wait time between getting checked in at the front desk & being seen by him is 30 to 45 minutes. He has 2 good staff members (Gene an older lady & his Nurse Practitioner). His doors open late. His voice mail doesn't give the correct hours they are gone for lunch. Important paper work only gets signed on Thursday mornings. This can be a real problem if you have been put on disability & need a pay check.

I went into Doc Florence s Doctors office on April 20, 09 to make an appointment. I need an appointment to get a referral with either a Orthopedic Doctor or a Radiologist. I have 2 CD s (1 of x-rays & 1of a CT Scan). I need a 2ND Professional & Expert Medical opinion of the CT Scan & x-rays. I explained this to the lady at the appointment desk. I filled out a paper that requested my Insurance & Health information. She sent me to the Hospital across the street to speak with one of the Administrative types at the Hospital. I followed her instructions. The Health care professional at the Hospital called Doctor Florence s office. She told this Lady that I would have to be referred by a Private Doctor. I returned to Doctor Florence s office. I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for this Lady to acknowledge me. She was talking & texting on her cell phone. I was told by this Lady that I needed to return another day to get an appointment. They were too busy to make me a future appointment.

My Wife & I relocated back to Manchester, Tennessee on July 01, 2008. It wasn't until March 2009 we needed a Family Doctor. My Wife was admitted into the Manchester Medical Center with Pneumonia in one of her lungs. My Wife was also diagnosed with COPD. My Wife was discharged just a couple days later. My Wife had a follow up appointment with Doctor Florence about one week later. She did not see Doctor Florence during her appointment. She instead was seen by an overworked Physicians Assistant. My Wife was sent immediately over to the Coffee Regional Medical Center for two more days with Pneumonia in both lungs. Since that appointment my Wife has had another follow up appointment with Doctor Florence. Again she did not see Doctor Florence but his Physicians Assistant. The Office atmosphere is relaxing but the Office staff is extremely rude. The two young blonde women that work the front desk should really find another line of work. They have no customer service skills what so ever.
