They were wonderful, with us, when we had to put our 13.5y chichichia down, they were very helpful, and were very patient, there animal clients come first, phonr calls, had had to wait, our little Star was dying of Renal faliure. He gave us a couple of options, one was Kindey transplant, which at her a age, was not an option, and two was to treat her, bladder or Kindey infection, but the progness wasgood. if the medicine worked you may get two months, then again she was 13.5years old,we oppt to put her down, so she wouldn't suffer, Because their were no guarantees. They were gentle wth her and talked to her the whole step, the wife petted Star, until she fell asleep, I gound my new Vet, however not sure if they take care of Horses, love Hawthorne, but tjis is closer, and I love the old school vet care, I am definitely going back.

I have a small animal rescue outside of Downey Idaho. I have been doing rescue a lot of years and have experienced a lot of vets. I have met from every vet from Blackfoot/Pocatello to Logan Utah. This is the third contact I have had with this Vet Office. Emergency care for abandoned or injuried animals is whomever you can get on the phone at the time of emergency. This is a husband and wife team and they are amazing. The Vet is compassionate and gentle and treats each animal like it was his own. His expertise matches or exceeds any I have experienced. Their prices are lower than the big city's but the level of care is not. I usually believe you get what you pay for ~ but these folks have changed my mind. I got more than my money's worth as they handled the emergency situation. (and I was worked in immediately, even tho their schedule was busy) From the front office (I have changed vets because the girls in the office were snotty and didnt care for animals) to the vet ~ these folks are just Awesome.
