If youre looking for an auto mechanic shop you can truly rely on, then West Lynn Auto is not the place for you. I brought my vehicle in approximately 2 months ago to get the brakes done (E-Brake too). The following day the mechanic called to inform me that it was ready for pick up. Over $500 later I was ready to head home. I got maybe 2 miles away from the shop before multiple warning signs lit up on my dashboard including the following: Traction Control, E-Brake, ABS, and Check Engine lights. I immediately turned the car around and drove straight back to the shop. When I arrived back at West Lynn Auto, they greeted me with excuse after excuse and claimed that it must have been a separate underlying issue (even though none of the lights were on when I initially dropped the vehicle off).I then explained to them that my wife is pregnant and that we had a doctors appointment to attend that afternoon and luckily they gave us an older model vehicle from their lot to use so that we did not miss the appointment. A few hours later they called us and stated that they solved the problem with my vehicle and said we could come pick it up again. We then returned to the shop where two separate mechanics met with us, both claiming that the work they did on the vehicle today did not cause this issue. They then said that they fixed it and said we wont charge you as if they were doing us a favor. My wife and I then jumped in the car and took off assuming that everything was fine again. Over the next few weeks, each individual warning light would flash on and off at various times when the car was either parked or in drive. We then brought the vehicle in to a different shop to get an oil change and to have it inspected to determine what the problem is. The new shop then suggested that we take it back to West Lynn Auto and stated that, They definitely screwed something up when they did the brakes. The lights then continued to come on and off for another couple of weeks and even forced us to pull over on the highway several times (putting my wife & I in dangerous situations on numerous occasions.) The vehicle is now in the shop once again which is going to cost us hundreds of dollars extra, all stemming from an issue that West Lynn Auto directly caused. I wanted to believe that the mechanics that work there are genuinely good people, but their customer service approach and attitude towards my wife and I in this situation was poor to say the least. When a person brings their vehicle to any auto mechanic, they have an expectation that their hard-earned money will be used to safely resolve any current issues with their car. Sadly, West Lynn Auto took zero responsibility for their mistakes. They lied directly to me and my 6-month pregnant wife and put both of our safety in jeopardy. I will never spend another dime at this auto mechanic shop and I encourage anybody reading this to take their business elsewhere. If your familys safety comes first, then West Lynn Auto is not the right option for you.

On the strength of these reviews I took my car to this shop. The warning light for an airbag was on and it was the last day to get a sticker. They diagnosed the problem, got a part from the junkyard and inspected the car. The shop was clean and the service was honest. I would go back any time.

Best experience ever. I took my car in with a minor problem, did not even have to wait they looked at it right away and I was on my way. Such a pleasure to deal with, friendly, funny, and fast!!! What more can you ask for. I can say that I finally found my own personal mechanic... A+ in service all the way around!

This is the first place I call when something happens to my car. The staff is friendly, honest, and willing to help in any way they can. I often feel as a female that auto shops try to take advantage of you; that is not the case with this shop.

Harry, Scott, Alan and the rest of the guys are the best around, this is a family owned business and it has been in operation for as long as I can remember. They are sympathetic to car trouble and in a heartbeat will help you with your car repairs. They are quick and experts at their craft. They go above and beyond. Their pricing is more than fair.
