      General Info
      Founded in 1972, Community Career Development is a nonprofit, workforce development organization. It operates the Wilshire-Metro WorkSource Center, which is a free job resource center for jobseekers. Located in Los Angeles, Community Career Development offers a variety of services to local businesses and residents. It also provides various workforce services that include professional referrals, education and training, and career guidance and job placement. The organization works in collaboration with several educational institutions, government agencies and community-based organizations. It offers free Internet access services for employment-related searches, as well as provides newspapers, cover letters and reference materials on resume development. In addition, Community Career Development conducts a variety of career preparation workshops and trainings sessions in software applications, logistics and security subjects.
