      Established in 1966, Laurel Housing is retirement community that provides a range of services for seniors. It has a 190-bed, long-term care facility that provides dietary, restorative nursing, and occupational, physical and speech therapies. The retirement community also offers internal nutrition and assessment, wound and respite care and pharmacy services. It provides medical and handicap accessible transportation services for outside medical appointment. Laurel Housing s activities include outings, games, parties, movies and a craft making. Additionally, it provides wellness instructions, weekly housekeeping, laundry, linen, and beauty salon and barbershop services. It has an Alzheimer s disease care unit that provides treatment and support for persons suffering from dementia and cognitive impairment. Laurel Housing is located in London, Ky.
