I used Lodi Flower Shop for my wedding. I was planning a wedding from southern California and she said she worked with several out of town brides. However, she is not good about using email to communicate. I detailed everything I wanted in an email to her and she would call to ask about things explicitly detailed in the email. I asked several times for things in writing and she told me several times that she would get a contract out to me. The final time I asked for a contract, she replied that she doesn't do that. My flower order was fairly simple, consisting mostly of roses. However, I had requested that she replicate my bridal bouquet from a picture. She told me that a couple of the flowers were expensive. She said that there were other less expensive flowers that would give the same effect. When I got my bridal bouquet, it looked nothing like the picture. There were only two types of flowers instead of three and the shape of the bouquet was completely different. She is not detail oriented. If she doesnt like your ideas, she is very negative about them. She almost forgot the corsages for the mothers (which were pretty expensive for the two roses she put on them). I was very unhappy with the whole process. I would have changed florists if I was local and had the time to find someone else. After the wedding, I emailed her about how unhappy I was with my bouquet. I have not received a response yet. If you care about details, if you want something a little different, if you care about good customer service, if you want to know exactly what you are paying for before you pay for it... USE A DIFFERENT FLORIST!
