I brought in a dog on 11/17/14 that I found on the intersection. Dog was bleeding. It is obvious it was hurt. I took it to the nearest vet clinic which happened to be Healthy Paws. When I walked in all covered in blood with a bleeding dog, they looked at me like it was business as usual. I asked for help, they said doctor will be right out. 5 minutes later I was still standing there with the hurt puppy. When I started yelling for help, nurse or doctor came out and took him. A couple of minutes later, nurse came out and gave me $500 bill. She said they cannot do any treatments until someone takes responsibility for the dog. They got it stable they said though. It did not belong to me, it had colar with name and phone number tag. While they were trying to reach out to the owner, they kept saying that they would not be able to keep the dog if no one claims it and they will give it to the shelter. No compassion whatsoever!!!! I spent a few hours there calling different rescues and animal controls and trying to find medical help for the poor puppy. And this place has a big sign on their webpage: Pet Emergency? Read no further and call us right away! Well, it was an emergency!!!!!!!! They did not want to help at all even knowing the dog was in pain and we were still trying to locate the owners. I ended up paying 2/3 of the bill for x-rays and some medications and owner came and paid the rest and took pet home.

Bottom line, this place is horrible. If you have a pet emergency with a stray hurt dog/cat, they will not do anything. I will never ever go to that place again.

I wish the rating could be .1 stars. This morning we signed a form which stated we would be paying $65 to get our puppy a shot, and have her groomed. The only reason we needed the shot was because the vet required it. We would have obtained the shot during the puppy's wellness exam at pet's mart three days earlier had we known that the vet required it. I went to pick the puppy up and was appalled at a $112 dollar total bill. I initially paid the bill, thinking my wife had requested more services than she had told me about. Upon contacting my wife she was livid that the doctor had charged almost 200% the agreed upon price. She had brought documentation with her when she dropped the puppy off which stated the puppy had just been given a wellness exam three days before. I spoke to one of the veterinarians since their business manager was not available. I tell you what she was a business manager's nightmare. In fact I expected her to understand that a first time customer might not be familiar with certain billing charges which are not on the estimate at drop off. I explained that I was a first time customer and that we had been referred by family. This did not phase her, At no time did she apologize to me. In fact only one employee ever apologized. I asked her if this was how she treated all first time employees; she was not sympathetic. She had no sense of customer service. I expressed to her and her staff that at no point did any of them try to keep my business, or my mother in law's business (she brings her dog in regularly as well). The Vet said she flat our refused to return the $39.80 in dispute. I hope that 39.80 is worth losing at least the three customer's business they've lost so far and hopefully many more. I will go out of my way patronize Pets mart in the future rather than pay their exorbitant prices. I would patronize anywhere that isn't heatlhy paws if I were you!

This is my favorite by far veterinary center. I have had pets for most of my life and these women are the best I've ever had. My cat is an old girl and in the twilight of her years. They are most gentle with her and recognize her senior needs.. They are so thorough and very informative, and very understanding of an individual's financial situation. The thing that I personally think is so cool is that all the vets and staff are women. I have known through my life many young girls who want to grow up to be veterinarians. These ladies-doctors are so professional and kind. I would totally recommend them to anyone wanting to find a vet for their beloved pets. And, to little girls wanting to become a vet when they grow up, I would tell them to visit the center on one of the centers special events and I know it will ignite their drive to follow their dreams. Healthy Paws has been my pet care center since 2004. I have two pomeranians and they have helped us through several health issues. I also board my dogs there and get them groomed there. It is one stop for everything--including getting their food for their special diet. I interviewed several vet clinics and was most comfortable with the care philosophy of Healthy Paws. They treat my dogs like their own. I totally trust them with my pets. They are consultative with you and help you work through any treatment decisions that you may need to make.

I purposely signed up for yell...

I purposely signed up for yellow pages just so I could warn people about this place. Also, I wouldn't even give this place 1 star if it were possible. Took our cat there after receiving a free exam coupon in the mail. When we got there they took us into a little room and took our cat away "to be weighed". After about 15 min we felt uncomfortable and asked for our cat, this is when the vet comes in and tells us our cat is not wanting to give blood. WHAT?!!! give blood? we never authorized this! Apparently, the technician, decided on his own that it was necessary. We finally got our cat back but only after being treated rudely and unprofessionally by the vet, including being told she never even examined our cat before they traumatized our kitty with surprise blood work. Do not go to this place. They are unprofessional, rude, and not compassionate at all.
