Cook Memorial Library, located in Libertyville, Ill., is operated by the Cook Memorial Public Library District. The district also runs the Evergreen Interim Library, a full-service library located in the Vernon Hills Village Hall. The space is provided to the library rent-free for a limited time by the Village of Vernon Hills. The district also operates the Bookmobile, a mobile library that provides services to neighborhoods and day care centers throughout the library district. The books can be returned through the use of drop boxes from where the library retrieves materials on a daily basis. Cook Memorial Public Library District includes most of Libertyville and Vernon Hills, as well as parts of Green Oaks, Mettawa, Indian Creek and Mundelein in Illinois.
