We had just moved into our newly built house and had them out to give us an estimate. The guy said that since the lots on all sides of us were vacant, they would drive their heavy machinery outside of our lot, as to not damage our sod and they would not charge us for the hauling away of dirt since they would just toss it onto the other lots.

When they arrived with their big machines, they drove all over the sod and tore it up in many places, leaving deep holes in the mud (since they came the day after it had rained). On top of that, they left all the dirt on the sod instead of tossing it into the other lots.

The guy didn't come to get paid until a week after they had put the fence up and since they didn't move the dirt, all the sod/grass that's under the dirt is dead. The guy that came, was the same one who'd given us the estimate and made the false promises to protect ours sod. When confronted about the dirt, he said that he didn't calculate moving the dirt into the estimate and so they didn't do anything with it, just left it on our lawn instead of tossing it 4 feet away. He couldn't even be bothered to apologize for the damage they did to our lawn.

I can't recommend a company that promises lies, damages your property, and then tells you that the dirt left on your grass is "not my problem".

I thought they were a good company, but apparently I was very wrong. My boyfriend at the time had them build the fence in my backyard and it was done quickly. It looked good at first, but I've found that they don't bury the posts deep enough or use enough concrete. They also put the boards right against the ground so they've started rotting. My whole fence is wavy, falling over and rotting after only five years. I know about the post depth and concrete now that I have had to fix it myself since my previous experience getting them to fix something went so wrong. I had a tree fall on a portion of it, and they made me wait for a month before they came out to fix it. I had paid for half up front, so I couldn't get someone else. They finally came out and fixed it, leaving a mess this time. I guess they treat men better than women because they were much more prompt and courteous for my boyfriend at the time. Then they tried to charge me for the whole thing again. I had to get a copy of the cancelled check to prove I already paid for half. So I asked for a new bill, and they said they would send it to me. I even called when I hadn't received it after a month. They said they would send it so I stopped harping at them. I forgot about it, and three years later they waste my time in small claims court over a bill that I was trying to pay in the first place. If they just would send me the bill I would have paid it, and offered to as soon as I could. They have a clause in their contract where they can charge interest for unpaid balances, and wanted interest and fees too. I think they also wanted to punish me because I was a woman standing up for myself. They wasted hours of my life in court and I missed work, all the time I was just trying to pay the stupid thing. But small claims thought they might be committing tax fraud and apparently they even filed the claim against me illegally using people who weren't legally authorized without proper paperwork. The court wouldn't let me pay until they filed it correctly. Two months of this. I was finally able to pay it and they still haven't sent me a receipt. These guys are super shady. I would never ever recommend them. Unless you are a man looking for a bad fence.

Great fences for backyards!

They did a very good job of fencing in our little private school yard here in Paris, Ky. Our fence line surrounds the old house we occupy with 70 students - we need the protection given the busy streets we are in between.
