      Friends Travel, Ltd just celebrated its 5th Anniversary under the ownership and management of Ann Torcivia, a travel professional with 37 years of experience. Joined by eleven other travel professionals, Friends Travel, Ltd staff provides combined travel experience in excess of 50 years. Ann Torcivia, President of Friends Travel, has been chosen as a Semifinalist in the contest honoring travel agents who "give back" to their communities. Royal Caribbean' Cruise Lines was searching of the next Godmother for the Liberty of the Seas Cruise ship. Out of 2500 nominees, Ann finished in the top 4th! Ann is also involved and serves on the Board of Directors of local charitable and community organizations. She is currently holding office as the President of the Levittown Chamber of Commerce and First Vice President elect of the Levittown Kiwanis Club as well as being a board member of LI CTO. Ann takes great pride in herself and her agents for keeping abreast of all the travel trends. She continues to learn about all travel destinations and, to date, she has completed over 30 courses. ( If they weren't they wouldn't be a Friends' travel agent ) Our agents are skilled at assessing a customer's expectation of price, service, environment and lifestyle, and they respond accordingly. We have a hands-on approach to all phases of Group bookings, from making the reservations, to preparing documents, and accompanying tour groups to their destinations to make sure that everything runs smoothly. We service diverse groups, including, student groups, seniors and leisure travelers. Everyone has some form of insurance. You protect your car, your home, and your life. WHY NOT PROTECT YOUR VACATION??? Friends Travel, LTD strongly suggests that clients purchase travel insurance. All travel suppliers have cancellation penalties which you would incur if you had to cancel your reservations. Penalties can range anywhere from $100.00 per person up to 100% of your trip cost. In addition, some health insurances don't cover you if you are traveling outside the United States. So we suggest an insurance that has emergency medical expense coverage as well as cancellation coverage. As long as the cardholder is the traveler and is traveling, we accept credit card information over the phone and do not require signed UCC. We require a signed UCC in all other cases. Refunds are only given to clients who have purchased travel insurance. Deposits will be refunded on a case by case basis.
