- Pelvic PainTissue from the lining of the uterus, known as the endometrium, grows outside the uterus often causing chronic pelvic pain, and sometimes infertility.

If you are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, we will build a collaborative team that will guide you through your pregnancy and help your baby have the best start in life.
- Labor and DeliveryThe postpartum period refers to the first six weeks after childbirth. This is a joyous time and it’s also a period of adjustment and healing for mothers. It is important to take care of yourself post-pregnancy. While this is a special time for you to bond with your baby, changes in your body, lack of sleep and the stress of caring for a newborn can be overwhelming.
- Ovarian CancerWhile most ovarian cysts are benign, it is important we check them to rule out cancer. It is especially important for postmenopausal women to be examined because they are at increased risk for ovarian cancer.
- Cervical CancerTo most women, the annual gynecological (gyn) exam and the pap smear are the same thing. Actually they are not. The pap is a test invented by Dr. Papanicolou, a Greek gynecologist who devised the pap smear as way of detecting cervical cancer in its early stages. Done as part of the annual gyn exam, the doctor or midwife rubs a brush and spatula in the cervix to obtain cells that will be sent to a laboratory. The lab technician looks at the cells for early signs of cervical cancer.

- Minimally Invasive SurgeryGynecologic minimally invasive surgery is the use of less invasive techniques to surgically treat gynecologic conditions. Minimally invasive techniques require no or only a few small incisions, rather than one large incision. Some of the procedures can be done on an outpatient basis, others may require a short hospital stay of one to two nights.
- HysterectomyDa Vinci Surgery (Robotic Assisted Surgery). The Da Vinci surgical robot is a specially designed high-tech laparoscopy system that enables the surgeon to see tissues in high definition 3D and to be able to move surgical instruments in directions that might otherwise be impossible with standard laparoscopy. DaVinci surgery is often used in delicate surgery such as hysterectomy or myomectomy.
- LaparoscopyLaparoscopy. Laparoscopy refers to the insertion of a telescope like device into the abdominal cavity which enables to surgeon to see the outside surface of pelvic organs such as the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovary. At the same time the abdominal cavity is filled with CO2 gas to create a space for the surgeon to observe and operate on these organs. Multiple incisions may be made in the abdominal wall to insert various instruments to treat diseased tissue or remove organs or tumors.
