      Janelle B. Snoddy, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in interventional pain management and anesthesiology. With nearly a decade of experience, Dr. Snoddy enjoys treating patients throughout Hyattsville and Lanham, Maryland, at CHOICE Pain & Rehabilitation Center. After graduating cum laude with honors from the Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans in 2008, Dr. Snoddy decided to pursue her passion for medicine by enrolling in Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She graduated from medical school in 2012 and began a competitive internship at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Snoddy completed her anesthesiology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. During her internship and residency, Dr. Snoddy realized her passion for treating pain causes and their symptoms. That’s why she began an interventional pain management fellowship in 2016 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Snoddy treats a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal, neuropathic, chronic, and acute pain-related conditions at CHOICE Pain & Rehabilitation Center. She creates individualized treatment plans for patients who have fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, and more, with innovative treatments like injection therapy. Dr. Snoddy is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Pain Society, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the National Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, live entertainment, and community outreach.
