General Info
To help individuals and organizations learn how to stop abuse and create the life and home, work and learning environment they love. We strive to end Interpersonal Violence and Intimate Partner Violence by providing compassionate individual and group treatment in a safe and supportive environment. We treat men, women and youth without discrimination. The SAFE Counseling Program, Inc. employs a unique set of tools developed and perfected over the course of more than 42 years combined successful practice with victims and perpetrators of domestic and interpersonal violence. Every day we teach a set of tools for emotional management, emotional healing, personal transformation, with the ultimate goal of personal and family safety and empowerment, Our set of tools was developed through the combination of external training and direct experience with clients over the course of our work since 1982 for John Anthony Bochnowicz and since 2004 for Vera T. Tzenova-Bochnowicz. Throughout decades of direct work in the filed of domestic violence and anger management we have heard over and over our clients express enthusiasm about passing on our tools and teaching them to a wider audience. Our clients feel pleased with the results, energized by their group work and frequently say: "where were you when I was in high school/getting married?" and "everyone can benefit from learning these tools!!" Between us we hold forty four years of experience in working with perpetrators and victims of domestic violence and with anger management referrals. Our unique set of tools works not only for court mandated offenders but also for individuals seeking help on their own. S.A.F.E. stands for Supportive Alliance for Family Empowerment, which is a unique approach to bringing safety and wellbeing to the entire family. We are excited about working with families before a crime is committed, and to provide intimate partner abuse prevention education to young and adult women and men in schools, universities, sororities, fraternities, sports teams and at work. Currently we are affiliated with The Peace Center in a non-profit organization in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Besides on www.SupportiveAlliance.com one can read more about us at http://www.thepeacecenter.org/programs/s-a-f-e/ Our tools are beneficial and accessible to every individual - child and adult, victim and perpetrator. Call to find out more – our tools they can be taught to a large and diverse audience yet touch individuals on a very personal level and effect personal change that is observable and is potentially life altering. We are working to advance the safety and well being of all families for the sake of our clients, our community and our society as a whole.. Call, Come, Learn, Empower Yourself and Pass it on!
