I went in to Joyce Automotive yesterday (black Honda CRV) to have them check a shimmy after having tires rotated elsewhere yesterday. Ed's attention and efforts on my behalf were WONDERFUL and so very much appreciated!!! Thank you very much for calling Dunn Tire in Cicero, NY to help explain the problem and find a solution, and thank you for rotating the tires back to where they were and not charging me, so that we could drive back to NY without the shimmy. I called to inquire about having my radiator flushed. The man on the phone gave me a very fair price of $59.95 & an appointment to have it done that day. However, when I got there, I was told that they were very busy & could not look at my car. Finally, they did agree to try to "work me in". After an hour wait, they put my car on the lift & started writing up an estimate. After another hour, I was presented with an estimate of what they found "wrong" with my vehicle. I was advised that flushing my radiator would not fix my problem. Instead, I needed a new radiator fan assembly, new alternator, new thermostat, new timing belts, and all new hoses. They would have to pull the motor out in order to do these repairs & gave me an estimate of 9 hours labor for a total cost of $1848.00. I was appalled & left immediately. I went elsewhere, got a flush & new fan installed for $200! I will never go back to Joyce Automotive again. The were unprofessional & rude.

I had never heard of Joyce Automotive before but since they are AAA approved shop, I decided to let them do the work on my car and I'm very glad that I did. Everyone I dealt with both in the office and in the shop was very pleasant and professional and they did a great job of fixing my car and stayed within their estimate which I especially appreciated. Being in business myself I know how important it is to earn repeat business and these folks have certainly earned mine.
